Small Business Community Membership

Before I introduce you to my own incredible Small Business Community, aptly (ok perhaps lazily) called The Small Business Community by Amanda Hughes, first let's talk about what a small business community membership actually is. Business community memberships bring together business owners, solopreneurs, founders, entrepreneurs etc with a shared goal of supporting one another and growing their businesses.

Some communities are built around a central theme, such as social media mentorship, and are typically led by a founder with expertise in that area. These memberships can take many forms such as online communities, in-person meetups and focused networking events.

Why is being part of a community important for business owners?

Well, they say it takes a village to raise a child and after 12 years of self employment (and 5 years being a twin mum) I've found the same to be true for a business.

Running a business can be an amazing but lonely and challenging experience. When you set up a business there's so much that you're just expected to know and/or have the budget to outsource. But when you don't know the answers or have said outsourcing budget, what next? Usually expensive (and questionable) courses are the answer - ask me how I know. Or perhaps asking in free business groups which can be like the blind leading the blind. Being part of a business community membership like The Small Business Community brings you a convenient, trusted place to learn and ask the questions.

You usually have access to resources with a small business community membership that individually would add up to a lot more than the monthly membership fee. You can attend workshops in busienss membership communities on topics from business finance to marketing and everything in between but also there is usually a wealth of knowledge amongst members that they are happy to share amongst one another, that's certainly the case in The Small Business Community for sure.

There's also the growth and visibility opportunities that a business membership community can provide for small business owners and solopreneurs too as fellow members often become customers or clients and/or refer you to others who can become customers or clients.

Like any community, being a part of one can also be incredibly fulfilling. There's a sense of togetherness and belonging that comes with being a part of a group of like minded people who are all striving to succeed and cheer each other on.

Is The Small Business Community the right one for you?

The Small Business Community is for you if you're a small business owner, solopreneur, or founder who is ready to stop doing it all alone.

Whether you're just starting out in business or you've been self employed for years and simply want a more connected, supported experience, you belong in here.

The Small Business Community might be the right fit if any of these sound familiar:

  • You want to grow your business but feel like you're missing a secret that everyone else knows

  • You'd love a community that celebrates your wins as loudly as it helps you through the tough days

The community is built on the belief that when small businesses thrive together, everybody wins.

Inside you'll find weekly connection, expert-led workshops, a resource library, promotion opportunities and most importantly, a group of genuinely warm and knowledgeable business owners who want only good things for you.
